Fix Windows Black Screen
If you are using Exodus for Windows, your wallet may open to a black screen. This could be caused by some GPU hardware & driver version combinations. We are sorry for the issues caused, and are working hard to expand the list of supported devices. In the interim, we recommend using the following workaround so you can start enjoying Exodus today.
- Click the Start icon on the left end of the taskbar to open the Start menu and search for "View advanced system settings":
- Clicking on it will open System Properties. Select the Advanced tab at the top and then click Environment Variables:
- Click New to add an "EXODUS_DISABLE_GPU" variable with value "true":
- Click OK and restart your PC, then try opening Exodus again.
