Why did I receive my EXOD tokens twice?
Why did I receive my EXOD tokens twice?

In August 2021, our transfer agent mistakenly sent out a set of duplicate transactions of EXOD tokens. They have now been reverted.

Updated this week

On August 16, 2021, at around 12:00 UTC, Securitize, our transfer agent, mistakenly sent out a set of duplicate transactions of EXOD tokens.

This resulted in approximately 300 investors receiving double the amount of EXOD tokens as the amount of Exodus shares they had purchased.

EXOD tokens are digital representations of Exodus Class A common stock. Since the number of Exodus shares purchased remained the same, the extra EXOD tokens sent out did not accurately represent the Exodus shares held by the investors affected.

Because the number of EXOD tokens sent out did not correspond to the number of Class A common stock purchased, Securitize, the transfer agent, reverted the erroneous transactions. This ensures that each EXOD token will continue to represent one share of Exodus Class A common stock.

If you received a duplicate transaction that was then reverted, it will look like this:

After the reverted transaction, your balance of EXOD tokens will be correct.
