How do I create an FTX account?

How do I start using the FTX Exchange app?

In order to start using the FTX Exchange app, you will need to create an FTX account and complete Level 1 Identity Verification (or above).

How do I create an FTX account?

Desktop

In your Exodus wallet, click on Install Apps.

Locate the FTX Exchange app and click on Install.

After installing the FTX Exchange app, click on Open.

a) Click Sign Up, then b) enter your email address and create a unique and secure password. c) Carefully read the Terms of Service before clicking I agree. d) Then click Sign Up.

Done! You now have an FTX account that is linked to the FTX Exchange app in your Exodus wallet.

To deposit funds in your FTX portfolio and start trading in the FTX Exchange app in Exodus, you will need to complete Level 1 Identity Verification or above.

Mobile

In your Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Profile icon then b) tap FTX.

a) Tap Sign Up, then b) enter your email address and create a unique and secure password. c) Carefully read the Terms of Service before tapping I agree. d) Then tap Create Account.

Done! You now have an FTX account that is linked to the FTX Exchange app in your Exodus wallet.

To deposit funds in your FTX portfolio and start trading in the FTX Exchange app in Exodus, you will need to complete Level 1 Identity Verification or above.


How do I complete identity verification (KYC)?

To deposit funds in your FTX portfolio and exchange crypto in the FTX Exchange app in Exodus, you will need to complete Level 1 Identity Verification or above.

Here is a guide on how to complete identity verification in the FTX Exchange app.

Desktop

In your Exodus wallet, click FTX Exchange.

Click FTX Settings.

a) Click Identity Verification, then b) click Enable trading and deposits.

Fill out the Level 1 Identity Verification form. You will be able to deposit funds to your Exodus FTX portfolio when the form is submitted and approved.

To increase your identity verification to level 2 for higher withdrawal limits, you can go to the Identity Verification menu (as shown in step 3) and click on Increase Withdrawal Limits and Enable Fiat.

Mobile

In Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Profile icon then, b) tap FTX.

Tap the three dots.

Tap FTX Settings.

a) Tap KYC Level then b) tap Apply for Level 1.

Fill out the Level 1 Identity Verification form. You will be able to deposit funds to your Exodus FTX portfolio when the form is submitted and approved.

To increase your identity verification to level 2 for higher withdrawal limits, you can go to the Identity Verification menu as shown in step 4.


How do I enable 2FA?

Desktop

In your Exodus wallet, click FTX Exchange.

Click FTX Settings.

a) Click Security, then a) click Two-Factor Authentication

You can now select which method of 2FA you would like to use. You can set up 2FA with a) either Authy or Google Authenticator, or b) SMS.

For security reasons, we strongly recommend using Authy / Google Authenticator over SMS.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enable your chosen 2FA method.

And done! You have now set up 2FA for the FTX Exchange app. If you want to enable 2FA for withdrawals you can do so from a) Security as shown in step 3 by b) clicking Require 2FA for withdrawals. To confirm that you want to enable 2FA for withdrawals, enter your 2FA code when prompted.
