Mango Markets dApp on Solana

All about Mango Markets and how to connect to it with your Exodus Browser Extension.

What is Mango Markets?

Mango Markets is a decentralized trading platform built on the Solana blockchain that combines the usability and liquidity of CeFi (centralized finance) with permissionless innovation from DeFi, reducing the cost required for the users compared to both. To make this happen, it provides useful features like lending, margin trading, and perpetual futures.

Mango Market's user interface is intuitive, and it offers additional features to improve trades executed on the Solana network.

Mango offers margin trading on limit orders, as well as market orders and swaps. Mango uses the Serum DEX for spot margin trading, while perpetual futures are traded on Mango's own order book.

For more information on Mango Markets, you can visit their official documentation here: Mango Markets overview.

What can I do with Mango Markets?

Mango Markets is a decentralized exchange (DEX) powered by the Solana blockchain where you can lend, borrow, swap, and leverage trade crypto assets.

Trade:

You can place leveraged perpetual futures and spot trades. It uses Serum DEX for spot margin trading, while perpetual futures are traded on Mango's own order book.

Additional information on how to use the trade feature can be found in the Mango Markets documentation here.

Swap:

This decentralized exchange (DEX) allows you to interact directly with your connected wallet to swap between different assets. The swap balances reflect your connected wallet balances, not from your Mango account. The swap feature uses Jupiter, like ExoDEX. Jupiter checks for the best prices and routes across all Solana dApps to give you the best price.

Additional information on how to use the swap feature can be found in the Mango Markets documentation here.

Lending:

To earn interest, you can deposit crypto into your Mango account. All assets automatically earn interest. Current and average rates are displayed on the stats page. In the Account section, there is an Interest tab that displays total and day-by-day interest earned or paid for all assets. There is no locked period on your assets, so you can withdraw anytime.

Additional information on how to use the lending feature can be found in the Mango Markets documentation here.

Borrow:

Borrowing occurs whenever you make a leveraged margin trade or a withdrawal borrow. To repay the loan, simply trade for or deposit the asset borrowed.

Additional information on how to use the borrowing feature can be found in the Mango Markets documentation here.
