How do I receive Bitcoin and other crypto in Exodus?

Receive more than 100+ different crypto assets on Exodus. Just like traditional bank transfers, receiving blockchain assets works like account numbers. Once you click the receive button Exodus shows your crypto address. Similar to a bank account number, you give this crypto receive address to another person from whom you wish to receive a payment.

It is easy to receive a coin or a token in your Exodus wallet. You will need to enable it in settings first. Exodus supports over 100 assets, so use the search tool to find your favorite asset quickly.

How do I receive crypto on Web3 Wallet?

You can receive crypto from your Web3 Wallet, on Ethereum, Solana, and other supported networks.

Open your Web3 Wallet and a) click on the Wallet icon. Next, b) click on Receive.

From the list of assets, click on the the one you want to receive.

Here you will see your address in plain text and as a QR code. You can use this address to receive this asset.


How do I receive crypto on Desktop?

These instructions work for any cryptocurrency that Exodus supports. In this example, we will receive Bitcoin.

Before you begin, please ensure that the asset you're sending to your Exodus wallet is a supported asset and that you choose the correct network to send it on.

For more information on supported networks, please see our article How do I send, receive or exchange an asset that runs on another network?

If you send an unsupported asset, or send a token on an unsupported network, you won't see the asset in your Exodus wallet. In this case, you might need to go through a recovery process. For help with this, please reach out to Exodus Support.;

a) Click the Wallet icon and;b) select the asset you want to receive.

If the asset you want to receive is supported on multiple networks, a) click the dropdown menu and b) select the network you are receiving the asset on.

If you don't see the network you want to receive funds on in the dropdown menu, you'll need to enable it by following this guide: How to enable and disable assets in Exodus?

After selecting the asset and network, click Receive.

Before you can receive an Algorand token, you have to opt in and enable it. To see how, visit: How do I opt in and enable Algorand tokens on Desktop?

You can click the copy button to copy the address. The button is located on the right-hand side of the address field.

An additional option is to scan your Bitcoin address QR code. From here you can also email your address or view it on a block explorer.

How do I receive crypto on Mobile?

How do I receive crypto on Trezor?

These instructions work for any blockchain asset that Exodus and Trezor supports. In this example, we will receive Bitcoin.

Receiving and sending funds on Trezor is only fully supported on Exodus Desktop. Although you can view your Trezor balance on Exodus mobile, sending is not supported. For more information, visit: Trezor on Exodus Mobile.

Before you begin, please ensure that the asset you're sending to your Trezor wallet is a supported asset and that you choose the correct network to send it on.

Before you send funds to your Trezor, connect it with Exodus to confirm that you can connect to the Trezor portfolio you are sending funds to. Next,;open your desktop wallet and a) click on the Portfolio icon, then b) click on your Trezor portfolio.

a) Click the Wallet icon, then from the list of tokens, b) click on the asset that you want to receive. For this example, we will use Bitcoin. Next, c) click on Receive.

An additional option is to scan your address QR code. You can also email your address, view it on a block explorer, or view and verify your address on your Trezor.
