What is the Exodus referral program?
If you recommend Exodus to your friends, you can earn rewards with the Exodus referral program.
When your friends download Exodus Mobile and enter your invite code, you will earn USD Coin (USDC on Algorand) whenever your friends swap eligible crypto. The more crypto they swap, the more you can earn!
To claim your rewards, you must either have or create a verified Securitize account. For more information on how to receive your rewards, jump to: How will I receive my rewards?

How do I get an invite code to give out?
Would you like to recommend Exodus to earn USDC on Algorand? Here is how to get an invite code to share with your friends.
To claim your rewards, you must complete identity verification with Securitize. After your Securitize account is verified, any USDC rewards you earn from referrals will automatically be claimed once per month, and the rewards will be sent to your Exodus Algorand address.

The Exodus referral program is available in Exodus Mobile.
Mobile
Open Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Profile icon, and b) select Refer & Earn.
a) Your invite code is on the left. To copy it, b) tap Share. Share this code with anyone you want to invite to download and install Exodus Mobile. When your friends download Exodus Mobile and enter your invite code, you will earn USD Coin (USDC on Algorand) whenever your friends swap eligible crypto.

How do I claim my rewards?
Claim your rewards on Exodus Mobile by completing identity verification with Securitize.
Mobile
You must complete identity verification with Securitize to claim your rewards. After your Securitize account is verified, any USDC rewards you earn from referrals will automatically be claimed once per month and sent to your Exodus Algorand address.
Open Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Profile icon, and b) select Refer & Earn.
Tap View Rewards. This will take you to the referral dashboard.
To continue, a) choose if you are a US citizen or resident or not, then b) tap Confirm.
In your referral dashboard, to start identity verification through Securitize, tap Verify.
You'll be taken to the Securitize website. If you don't yet have a Securitize account, you can create one by a) entering your information and tapping Accept & Continue. To log in to an existing Securitize account, b) tap Log In.
If your account is not yet verified, you will need to go through a verification process. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify your account.
When you have successfully connected your Securitize account, you will be taken back to your referral dashboard, where you can see the status of the verification process. If the status is pending, you'll need to wait for it to complete.
The verification status will change if you need to take any action. If you tap on the new verification status, you will be taken to Securitize, where you can see further details.
After your Securitize account is verified, any USDC rewards you earn from referrals will automatically be claimed once per month. Your rewards will be sent to your Exodus Algorand address.
How do I redeem an invite code I’ve been given?

After redeeming your invite code, you can recommend Exodus to your friends to earn your own rewards!
You can redeem an invite code by downloading and installing Exodus Mobile.

To redeem your invite code, first download Exodus Mobile.
When you open Exodus Mobile for the first time, you'll be asked if you have an invite code. Enter the invite code you want to redeem, then tap either Create Wallet or I Have a Wallet. Then follow the instructions on the screen to set up your wallet.

Which swaps will I earn referral rewards on?
You will earn referral rewards on swaps depending on your location, your friend's location, and the assets on both sides of the swap.
See the table below to see which swaps you will earn rewards on:

How will I receive my rewards?
After successfully referring friends, you'll accumulate rewards whenever they swap eligible crypto for the duration of the referral program. How much you earn depends on the amount of eligible crypto they swap. The more they swap, the greater your reward!
To claim your rewards, you must complete the verification with Securitize. For more information on how to complete the verification, jump to: How do I claim my rewards?
After completing the verification, rewards are paid in USDC on the Algorand network and automatically sent to your Exodus wallet on each payout date.
Rewards are paid out every month. If you connect to your dashboard, you can check the rewards you've earned, any pending rewards, and when your next rewards will be paid.
How do I see referral stats on my dashboard?
You can keep track of all of your referral activity on your dashboard. Your dashboard has information on how many friends you've invited, the rewards you've earned, any pending rewards, and your next payout date.
Here's how you can access your dashboard.
Mobile
Open Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Profile icon, then b) tap Refer & Earn.
Click View Rewards.
You are now connected to your dashboard. Scroll down to view a) your current level (refer more friends to level up!), b) your referral stats, and c) your referral code.
You can view the cards to see your referral stats. Swipe left to view all of the cards. With the cards, you can view the following stats:
a) Friends Joined: See how many friends you've invited to Exodus with your invite code
b) Earned Rewards: The total amount of USDC you've received from the referral program
c) Next Payout: See the next payout date and your upcoming USDC rewards for the next payout date

Securitize and verification FAQs
What is Securitize?
Securitize is the digital asset securities firm that performs identity verification for the Exodus referral program.
Securitize verifies your identity so you can take part in the referral program. Identity verification is needed to ensure all regulations are complied with when participating in the referral program.
Securitize is a third-party platform. As such, Exodus cannot guarantee the performance of its products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.
Will my wallet be linked to my Securitize account?
No, your Exodus wallet will not be linked to your Securitize account. Your wallet details and your personal information will remain separate.
Exodus remains a self-custody wallet, and your wallet information will not be associated with your Securitize account or your identity.

Can I create a verified Securitize account?
To create a verified Securitize account, you must meet the following criteria:
18 years of age or older
Located in a jurisdiction/region supported by Securitize. To see the regions where Securitize is unavailable, jump to: Is Securitize supported in my country?
Have a passport or ID that is valid (not expired). To see which documentation Securitize accepts, jump to: What documentation do I need for verification?
To ensure successful verification, only use your own information when creating a Securitize account. Don't create duplicate accounts, and don't create test accounts using fake data. Also, refrain from submitting the same documents multiple times.

What documentation do I need for identity verification?
The following types of ID can be used for identity verification on Securitize:
United States: US driver's license, state ID, or passport
European Union: National identity card or passport
Japan: National ID or passport
Worldwide (others): Passport only
The documentation you submit can't be expired, and must still be valid.

Is Securitize supported in my country?
To participate in the Exodus referral program, you will need to be able to create a Securitize account and complete identity verification.
If you have a verified Securitize account but are located in an unsupported region, you won't see the referral program in the wallet.

How do I contact Securitize support?
If you encounter issues creating or completing verification for your Securitize account, you will need to contact Securitize's support team.
The easiest way to contact Securitize is through the chat widget on their website.
If you contact Securitize outside of business hours, you'll be able to enter your email address and name and send them a message through the chat widget.
Chat support is available Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM eastern time (ET).
Go to id.securitize.io and click Support.

The referral program is no longer accessible in Exodus Web3 Wallet
The Exodus referral program is no longer available through Exodus Web3 Wallet.
Friends won't be able to claim your referral code in Exodus Web3 Wallet. However, you will continue to earn rewards from eligible crypto swaps from anyone you previously referred who uses Exodus Web3 Wallet.
New customers can enter your referral code in Exodus Mobile.
If you used the referral program in Exodus Web3 Wallet to refer others, you can access the referral dashboard with Exodus Mobile.
Follow the steps below to sync Exodus Web3 Wallet to Exodus Mobile to access the referral dashboard:

Why can I no longer access the referral program from the UK?
Due to new FCA regulations in the UK, the referral program is no longer available to UK residents.
All rewards earned before October 8 will be paid out in full.
Will I receive a 1099 form if I earn $600 or more?
For tax purposes, if you are located in the US and receive $600 or more as a reward for participating in the referral program, Exodus will fill out and submit a Form 1099 on your behalf.
An electronic copy will also be sent to you by email.
