Which assets are being sunsetted?
The following assets are scheduled to be sunsetted. See each section for more details about each sunset.
Binance Coin (BNB) on BNB Beacon Chain
Binance USD (BUSD) on BNB Beacon Chain
THORChain (RUNE)

Bitcoin Gold (BTG)
NEM (XEM)

BNB Beacon Chain network sunset
Binance announced the BNB Beacon Chain network is scheduled to be sunsetted in May 2024.
Binance's plan is to retire the BNB Beacon Chain and migrate its functions to the BNB Smart Chain network. As a result, the BNB Beacon Chain will be sunsetted, and only the BNB Smart Chain network will remain.

From May 6, Exodus will stop supporting all BNB Beacon Chain assets. This includes:
Binance Coin (BNB) on BNB Beacon Chain
Binance USD (BUSD) on BNB Beacon Chain
Binance ended support for BUSD. For more information, go to the sections: Binance ends support for BUSD
THORChain (RUNE)
THORChain has retired THORChain (RUNE) on BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2), and BEP2 RUNE will no longer hold any value. For more information, see THORChain's announcement on X (Formerly Twitter).
What should I do if I have BNB Beacon Chain assets?
If you hold assets on the BNB Beacon Chain network, you will need to swap your BNB Beacon Chain assets or migrate your BNB with the Exodus migration tool before May 6 to guarantee that you do not lose any funds.
Swap to another asset
Swap with Exodus Swap
If the BNB Beacon Chain asset you hold is available for you to swap in Exodus Swap, then you can swap by a) clicking/tapping the Swap icon in Exodus, b) selecting the BNB Beacon Chain asset you want to swap from, and then c) selecting the asset you want to swap to.

Swap with another exchange
If swapping in Exodus is unavailable to you, then you can look for an alternative exchange to swap your assets.
When you find another exchange, you can send your funds to it from Exodus to swap your assets. For a guide on how to send crypto from Exodus, see: How do I send Bitcoin and crypto from Exodus?
With some exchanges, you may be able to withdraw the same asset but on a different network, effectively swapping it. This can only happen if the exchange allows you to choose the network when withdrawing funds.

How do I migrate my BNB to the BNB Smart Chain network?
Migrate your BNB on the BNB Beacon chain to BNB on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) with the BNB migration tool in Exodus Mobile and Exodus Desktop.
Migrating BNB will incur a small network transaction fee because it creates a cross-chain transaction.
The migration tool only supports migrating Binance Coin (BNB).
THORChain (RUNE): RUNE can not be migrated to the Binance Smart Chain network. THORChain retired BEP2 RUNE, and the token no longer holds any value. For more information see THORChain's announcement on X (Formerly Twitter).
Binance (BUSD): BUSD can not be migrated with the BNB migration tool in Exodus. Binance has ended support for BUSD. For more information, jump to the section: Binance ends support for BUSD.
Mobile
In Exodus Mobile, go to your BNB wallet on the BNB Beacon Chain network and tap the Migrate icon.
Confirm the amount of BNB and the transaction fee, then tap Migrate.
Once the transaction is confirmed, you will see your funds in your BNB wallet on the BNB Smart Chain. Tap Go to Wallet to close the prompt.
Desktop
In Exodus Desktop, go to your BNB wallet on the BNB Beacon Chain network. If you have BNB enabled on multiple networks, a) make sure you select BNB Chain Network. b) Click Migrate to BNB Smart Chain.
Confirm the amount of BNB and the transaction fee, then click Migrate.
Once the transaction is confirmed, you will see the funds in your BNB Wallet on the BNB Smart Chain. Click Go To Wallet to close the prompt.
What happens if I don't swap or migrate my BNB Beacon Chain assets?

To guarantee that your assets on the BNB Beacon Chain won't be lost, swap or migrate them before May 6.
Binance ends support for BUSD
Binance announced that they will end support for Binance USD (BUSD). To learn more, see Binance's announcement.
With Exodus, you can still send and receive BUSD on the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain network as custom tokens.
If you hold BUSD on the Binance Beacon Chain network, you will need to swap your BUSD before the BNB Beacon Chain sunsets on May 6.

What options do I have if I hold BUSD?
If you have BUSD, Binance recommends converting BUSD to FDUSD. To read more about Binance ending support for BUSD, see Binance's announcement.
Binance announced that they support converting BUSD to FDUSD using Binance Convert.
To use the Binance Convert, you can send your BUSD from Exodus to your Binance account and convert BUSD to FDUSD. For information on how to send crypto from Exodus, visit: How do I send Bitcoin and crypto from Exodus?
Exodus ending support for certain assets
On July 1, 2024, Exodus will stop supporting the following assets:

NEM (XEM)
Nano (XNO)

Bonded Luna (bLUNA)
TerraClassicUSD (USTC)
Anchor Protocol (ANC)
Vertcoin (VTC)
You can still send and receive the assets with Exodus until July 1, 2024.
What should I do if I have assets that will no longer be supported?
If you hold assets that will no longer be supported after July 1, 2024, then you will need to either swap them to another asset or send them to another wallet.
Swap to another asset
Exodus Swap
Until July 1, 2024, you can still transact with the assets that are scheduled to no longer be supported by Exodus. This includes swapping with Exodus Swap if the asset you have is available for swapping.
If swapping is available for you, then to swap to another asset, open your Exodus wallet and a) tap/click the swap icon, b) select the asset you want to swap from, and c) select the asset you want to receive.

Send the assets to another wallet
Until July 1, 2024, you can send and transact with any of the assets that will no longer be supported by Exodus.
This means that if you want to keep the assets instead of swapping them, you can send them to another wallet, platform, or exchange.
Before you send your funds, confirm that the platform you send your funds to supports the asset you are sending.

What if I don't move my funds?
After July 1, 2024, you will no longer be able to transact or view the balances of any of the assets that Exodus ends support for.
However, you will not lose access to your crypto.
This is because Exodus is a self-custodial wallet, you can always access the funds with your 12-word secret recovery phrase, and the private keys for those assets are generated from your secret recovery phrase. Keep in mind that some wallets might not support the Exodus derivation path when importing the secret recovery phrase directly into another wallet, and sometimes, only importing with a private key is supported.
While it is still possible to transact the assets with Exodus, it is recommended to either send the assets to a different wallet or swap to another asset before July 1, 2024, the date Exodus will no longer support these assets.
How do I view my private keys for the assets that are leaving?
Until July 1, 2024, on both Exodus Mobile and Desktop, you can view your private keys for the assets Exodus will stop supporting.
After July 1, 2024, it will no longer be possible to view the private keys for these assets.
Please be very careful with your private keys, because they control access to your funds. Never share them with anyone, and only import them into platforms that you trust 100%. In Exodus Mobile, go to the wallet of the asset you want to view the private key for and tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Please note that it is only possible to view the private keys for the assets that Exodus is stopping support for.
After reading the prompt, tap View Private Keys.
While viewing your private keys, please make sure no one is around you. Private keys are for your eyes only! Please be very careful with your private keys because they control access to your funds. Never share them with anyone, and only import them into platforms that you trust 100%. If you choose to import your private keys into a third-party platform, you do so at your own risk. From here, you can view your private key. Tapping on the private key will copy it to your clipboard.
Desktop
In Exodus Desktop, go to the wallet of the asset you want to view the private key of. a) Click the More icon in the top right corner, and b) click View Private Keys.
After reading the prompt, click Yes, I'm sure.
While viewing your private keys, please make sure no one is around you. Private keys are for your eyes only! Please be very careful with your private keys because they control access to your funds. Never share them with anyone, and only import them into platforms that you trust 100%. If you choose to import your private keys into a third-party platform, you do so at your own risk. If you have set a password, enter your password and click Unlock Now to view your private keys.
Next, resize the window by hovering on the edge until you see the double arrow and dragging wider to see the entire private key. Double-click or highlight the private key with the mouse cursor, then copy it to your clipboard.
To copy the private key to your clipboard, on your keyboard, press CMD+C on Mac or CTRL+C on Windows. Afterward, clear your clipboard data by following the instructions in the section: How do I clear my clipboard data?
