How to recover Bitcoin Cash sent to the wrong address?

Please note: These instructions only work using the desktop version of Exodus.


Recover Bitcoin Cash (BCH) sent to your Bitcoin (BTC) wallet

First, navigate to the Bitcoin (BTC) section of your wallet.

Next, click on the Asset Menu in the upper right-hand corner of your wallet. If you don't see the Asset Menu option in your wallet, be sure to update to our latest release.

Select the Sweep for Bitcoin Cash option from your Asset Menu:

Please note: Sweeping your BTC wallet for BCH will incur a Bitcoin Cash network fee.

Your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be moved to your Exodus BCH address, and you will see it in your wallet's balance.


Recover Bitcoin Cash (BCH) sent to your Bitcoin SV (BSV) wallet

First, navigate to the Bitcoin SV (BSV) section of your wallet.

Next, click on the Asset Menu in the upper right-hand corner of your wallet. If you don't see the Asset Menu option in your wallet, be sure to update to our latest release.

Select the Sweep for Bitcoin Cash option from your Asset Menu:

Please note: Sweeping your BSV wallet for BCH will incur a Bitcoin Cash network fee.

Your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be moved to your Exodus BCH address, and you will see it in your wallet's balance.
