How to move your funds from your Paxful wallet to a new Exodus self-custody wallet.

Paxful suspended its marketplace as of April 4, 2023. If you have a Paxful wallet, you can still send your crypto from Paxful to Exodus.

How do I move my assets from Paxful to Exodus?

You can move your funds from Paxful to Exodus by sending your crypto from your Paxful wallet to your Exodus wallet.

How do I send crypto from Paxful to Exodus?

Paxful on mobile

Paxful is a third-party platform that is not affiliated with Exodus. As such, Exodus cannot guarantee the performance of its products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.

  1. Log in to Paxful and tap Wallet.

  2. On the Wallet page, tap Send.

  3. Tap on Send Bitcoin (or other asset).

  4. a) Enter your asset's address in the Send to field, and b) enter the amount you want to send. c) Then tap Continue to Confirm.

  5. a) Double check that the address and amount are correct. Then b) tap Send.

And that's it! Your crypto is on its way to Exodus.


Paxful on desktop

Paxful is a third-party platform that is not affiliated with Exodus. As such, Exodus cannot guarantee the performance of its products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.

  1. Log in to Paxful. You'll see a message about the suspension of the Paxful marketplace. Scroll down.

  2. Under the message, you'll see a few options to move your funds. To send your crypto to Exodus, click on Transfer to External Wallet.

  3. A Withdraw your funds box will appear. a) Enter your asset's address, then b) click Withdraw.

  4. a) Enter your 2FA authentication code, and b) click Submit.

  5. And that's it! You'll receive a confirmation popup that your crypto has been sent.


How do I find my asset's address in Exodus?

Mobile

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap on the Wallet icon, then b) tap on the asset you'd like to receive. If an asset is enabled on multiple networks, c) a menu will expand, and you can select the network.

    If you don't see the asset you want to receive, you'll need to enable it by following this guide: How do I enable and disable assets in Exodus?

  2. Now tap on the Receive icon on the right.

  3. To copy the address, tap on it. You can paste this address into Paxful.


Desktop

  1. In Exodus Desktop, a) click the Wallet icon and b) select the asset you want to receive.

  2. If the asset you want to receive, such as USDC or USDT, is supported on multiple networks, a) click the dropdown menu and b) select the network you are receiving the asset on. To receive USDC and USDT assets from Paxful, select Ethereum.

  3. After selecting the asset and network, click Receive.

  4. To copy the address, click the copy icon to the right of the address field. You can paste this address into Paxful.


Web3 Wallet

  1. Open Web3 Wallet and a) click on the Wallet icon. Next, b) click on Receive.

  2. From the list of assets, click on the one you want to receive.

  3. Here you will see your address in plain text. To copy it to your clipboard, click Copy. You can paste this address into Paxful.
